I met him a year and a half later after this happened, he was still obviously very scarred and heartbroken by the experience. He also would go out with his guy friends and complain about how badly his ex treated him, and make comments about how all women were bitches while we were dating. After he saw some old photographs of her from his brother's album he started crying about how much she hurt him.
Considering that we were together for three years and none of the above traits were the ending factor in our relationship, please don't jump down my throat for attacking his job, his looks, or his height, because that's not what I'm trying to do.
Then I dont see what the big deal is. I think she asked you because she was nervous about it and wanted to know if you both were aware of this date. I dont think its a bad thing that she asked.
